For its 6th season, NESE staged Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot at the Lebanon Opera House, in Lebanon, NH.

NESE's inaugural 2004 presentation of Twelfth Night enjoyed widespread press coverage and rave reviews from highly enthusiastic audiences. Building on this momentum, we devoted our 2005 season to growth and outreach, and produced our first non-Shakespearean classic, The Gin Game in New London, NH. In 2006 we staged the magical and enchanting A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Lebanon Opera House, followed by the tumultuous tragedy King Lear in 2007, and the spirited romantic comedy Much Ado About Nothing in 2008.Once again in 2009, audiences praised NESE's productions and valued the opportunity to experience quality live theatre without having to travel to Boston, New York or Montreal.

King Lear: John Goodlin* (Lear), Nurit Monacelli* (Cordelia).
