Fall in love for the first time–or all over again–with the power and poetry of Shakespeare and his timeless wit, wisdom and humor.

In June 2009, NESE celebrates its 6th season by presenting Shakespeare's madcap comedy of mistaken identities Comedy of Errors and Samuel Beckett's tragicomedy Waiting for Godot at the Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon, NH.   NESE has been enriching our community with the majesty of Shakespeare and the splendor of live theatre since our inaugural season production of Twelfth Night.

Education is an important part of our mission. In 2008 and 2009, we have been expanding our educational outreach by conducting in-school workshops in two dozen schools in both New Hampshire and Vermont, and by distributing free tickets to NESE productions to workshop participants and via more than fifty libraries in both states.

All of this takes time and money, and ticket sales, unfortunately, account for only a small portion of our budget. Our success depends on strong financial support and volunteer help. Click here if you would like to offer your help or pledge your financial support.
